Due to family issues, I have relocated to Miami, Florida. I've taken a part-time position at a South Florida casino as a poker dealer while building up my photography business in the area. Ideally I'd like to focus on event photography, because I love shooting weddings. However, hours at my new job and stiff competition limit my options. I always love booking portrait sessions with babies, children and families. One of my first projects in Miami was working with a few models from Model Mayhem. I was lucky to work with very talented, beautiful and easy going models. I'm very happy with the images we produced and hope to set some body art projects in the near future. Maybe when the temperature cools!

Blah-Humbug
This holiday season has been less than ideal. With financial stresses peering out at me from every corner and not being able to visit my family in Miami, the holidays have been somewhat of a bummer this year. In my search for the infamous "happy things in life," I did find a couple of things to be cheerful for. Friends and photography. When you combine the two (like in this awesome shoot with Kristie and Evan,) it's a basic defense in combatting feelings of blah-humbug. I'm still not wearing an elf outfit or putting on a santa hat, but it's a step in the right direction! I mean, how can you not cheer up a little bit when looking at these photos?

My naked friends
I can't begin to explain how much I want to do and how little time there always seems to be! I have been inexplicably busy for the past three months. What's worse is that I have very little photos to show for it, and not enough time to catch up on posting the ones I do have to show. Anyway, here's the "cleanest" shot from a recent erotic art shoot. I asked my friends to get naked, and they did! Crazy.

New Spot, New Photos of Myself!
I had a great short session with Darryl, who did pretty well. I found new spots at Sunset Park, which is always a good thing. Also figure out that there is a mass amount of people that get up before 9am and they were all the park!
Also was able to get some photos of myself during my last studio shoot!

A Vegas Wedding
Jewelry
I took a shot at product photography! Actually, I've done product photography before (kind of) just never with jewelry. I have to say it was tough because I don't really have a wide enough lens to really capture it the way I want. Still, I worked with what I had and although my new studio space is a little cramped I finally had a shoot! I loved trying different things out with lighting and Plexiglas. The jewelry is from chezchani, and it is awesome.

Park and Recreation
Here are some photos I've not gotten to post in some time. I'm still trying to recover from the move! I've discovered a new park, Aliante. It's really beautiful so of course I've already shot there twice. I was there with some friends and then I had the pleasure of shooting Josie from model mayhem there. I had her model some Chezchani jewelry while we were outdoors. I am going to shoot the jewelry indoors since it was a windy day and at 2pm with no cloud coverage, it was way too sunny. (http://chezchani.blogspot.com/)
I also had the pleasure of meeting Valerie of www.bigfeetpjs.com. She needed a photo for a national publication. It was way too easy and I'm getting a tear sheet! Yay.
