Renovations

While still in the process of renovating my website, I began a different renovation! I am going to be moving into a house where I will be able to have some studio space, which is very exciting! Here are a few photos that I've worked on recently. Stay tuned for the meaty before and after pics of a faux stone treatment to cement underneath carpet we tore out! Watch out HGTV!

The New Logo

I'm re-doing my website still...it's almost "finished." I still have yet to get my photo galleries up, I keep getting distracted by new and exciting things like www.jalbum.net, new backgrounds for my video work, and work itself. I thought I had a lot of "free" time but no, I ended up with work! Yay for me. Here are a few newer, arty photos along with my logo.

New Logo

I've been working on a new logo and redoing my michivision website! I haven't been extraordinarily busy but I have been neglectful of this blog. Sorry to the one devout reader!

Tagged!

I was tagged! So I immediately went to my 2008 folder (it's the only one with 6 folders.) I went to the 6th folder and uploaded the 6th pic. Here's the photo...it was taken while hanging out with some friends after some drinks. We were wandering through a Walmart, not quite sure why but where else is there to go at 3am that's not a casino? It was back during the month or two that I insisted on taking my back-up camera Veronica with me everywhere just in case. Veronica is going to be sold on ebay soon. We had such fond memories though! This whole folder probably should have been deleted and this photo definitely needs re-touching but I'm picky!

The Holidays

I wasn't in a very festive mood this Holiday season. It's been a long, hard road this year. I was pretty Scroogey! I did manage to eat a lot and spend time with friends. I guess you can't really ask for much more right?

Catching Up Part Three

I missed the window for Halloween and Holiday portraits, so hopefully I'll be better prepared for next year! Until photography starts paying more of my bills, I shall continue to be preoccupied with the other J-O-B's. I'm a little disappointed in myself for not doing more with my art but there's only so much I can do. When I finally do have time, I have no energy or motivation. I'll figure it out eventually I guess. Here are a few more photos that have been left by the wayside. Some from the Renaissance Festival and some from pictures of my boyfriend's guitars.

Catching Up Part Two

The number one reason I haven't really blogged is that I loaned my laptop out to a good friend of mine (my laptop is my direct link to internet.) So when I did go online it was to check my emails and such from my boyfriend's house. He's the second reason I haven't had a whole lot of time to update this photo blog. The third reason is that my BFF was in a show and aside from working at the casino and hanging with the new boyfriend, I spent the rest of my available time trying to achieve the status of unofficial show mascot. I took many pictures of my best friend/roommate in her role as Googie Gomez in the LVLT's production of The Ritz. We also had a Halloween party..........(I'm actually posting pics of myself, ew!)
