Fair Races, Blue Division

After our 2 year old filly pacer finished fifth last week, we were a little more nervous about her talent. It helped calm us down when she won this week. I tried out my canon rebel xt with my Quantaray 70-300 1:4-5.6 lens on a monopod during the races prior to Roll the Di's race. I don't know what I expected but was very disappointed. I know I'll need an IS lens if I ever intend on shooting fast action sports. I got some okay shots, mostly non action. For some reason though, my focus needs some work. I'm finding a lot of shots I thought were good suffered from slight hand shake. I need a new monopod, tripod and lense. Must save up some funds for new gear.
