Under the weather, redoing website

When I began this blog my goal was to try to take a photo at least once a week. Discipline is a word some of us lazy people don't know very well. I guess I just haven't been very inspired lately. Or maybe I've just been too busy, either way there's no excuse really. However, since I've been sick the past few days I've taken advantage and redesigned some parts of my website. It's not exactly the way I wanted it but it's done for right now. It looks great, check it out!

Swan Storm

We went over to a friend's place tonight. There was a storm and I had my camera! I managed to capture a few good moments before the rain and then some after. The only bad news is that I think something is wrong with my camera, like a bad pixel or something cause I keep getting a sparkly dot on some of the pics. The only upside is that I'll probably get a new camera some time soon!

Family Shoot

This shoot was a lot of fun. I'm hoping for another one in the fall. They live across the street so it's pretty convenient!

Social Gathering

Our racehorse trainer was given a surprise party to celebrate his fiftieth birthday. There was a pig roast, many attendees and gag gifts. The cake was fashioned from one of my photographs! I was the self-appointed, unoficial party photographer. There were disposable cameras, left neglected on the tables.

The Neighbors

My neighbors came over and walked Jate for a while. We have a shoot scheduled but I figured I would take a couple of test shots beforehand. It worked out quite well despite the heat. I can't wait for the shoot! They are such well mannered, smart, and fun kids to work with.

The Sisters

Jimi's Little Wing, Princess Michi and Roll the Di were turned out together and I managed to take some shots of them together. I'm hoping to do it again some time before winter.

The Photo Shoot

I really loved some of the photos I managed to capture. I might re-shoot at the same location with the girls getting glam. I'm looking forward to it. I want to try to capture some more reflection in the water shots.
