Sneaky ones

I'm feeling a lot better! I'm slowly getting back into shooting. While I have a few pictures to proof yet from my latest shoot, here are some sneaky ones I took while I was in Miami.

The Beach and the Pains

This will probably be the last post for quite some time, since I'll be out of commission for a while. I've injured my neck and shoulder, which have made moving and walking very hard for me. The saddest part is not being able to shoot for a while. It's a very sad time right now. Anyway, here are some pics from one of my recent Miami shoots. I loved shooting on the beach!

Quinceanera Party

I was happy to help out one of my oldest friend's with providing the photography for a Quinceanera party. It's the latin quasi-equivalent of a sweet sixteen. Only it's at fifteen. Needless to say I didn't really spend too much time with my friend but at least at got some great shots and I had a good time!

Mom's Other Kids

My sister and I decided to work on a photo calendar for a Mother's Day gift for out mom. It seemed like a lot more work than I thought it would be. It was a lot of fun collaberating with my sister though. I just wish we both would have more time to mess around with more shots of these adorable kittens. I think my mom will LOVE her gift. I hope she doesn't read this blog before Sunday!

Y's family

I just recently got to spend some time with a friend I haven't seen since high school. It's kind of weird how life just keeps happening yet I sometimes feel as if I stay the same. I was able to take pics, which always makes me happy. I just hope she likes the pics as much as I do.

Not so Goth

For this shoot with my friend Olga, I was trying to go for a goth type of thing. I was pretty much experimenting but I didn't really get what I wanted. It was tough to shoot with the sun blaring. I usually don't like shooting at sun-blaring times but unfortunately we had little control over the time and we had problems with the eyelashes. Of course, I managed to get a ton of great shots. Maybe not the ones I really wanted but great shots nontheless. I must do this again sometime.

Candidly

Here are a few candid type shots I took recently. I haven't been inspired to set up any shoots since I've moved to Las Vegas. It's taken all my energy to try to look for a job. The failure has sucked out my inspiration as well. I'm getting back into it because it's the only thing that makes me happy. I'm working on marketing myself and trying to start up my photography company out here. So I'm making friends, slowly. It's a rough time. It will get better, fingers crossed. The last one Olga took of me!
